To speak about friendship, you should know the proper vocabulary. Here is the vocabulary connected with it.

Association - a feeling or thought that relates to someone or something
 
Attachment - a feeling of love or strong connection to someone or something
 
Attraction - something that makes people want to go to a place or do a particular thing
 
Benevolence - kindness
 
Coalition - the joining together of different political parties or groups for a particular purpose, usually for a limited time
 
Comity - the friendship and respect between countries shown by accepting each other’s laws, political systems, and customs
 
Company - the fact of being with a person or people, or the person or people you are with
 
Consideration - behaviour that is kind and considers people's feelings
 
Empathy - the ability to share someone else's feelings or experiences by imagining what it would be like to be in that person's situation
 
Examples:
 
At university I formed a strong attachment to one of my groupmates.

It was a long trip and I was grateful for his company.

You have no consideration for others!
