A Day at the Bus Station

Emily had a busy day ahead. She needed to travel from London to Oxford for an important meeting. She arrived at Victoria Bus Station early in the morning, hoping to catch the first bus. As she entered the station, she saw a large timetable on the wall. The next bus to Oxford was scheduled to depart at 9.15 a.m. Emily checked her watch—it was only 8.30 a.m., so she had plenty of time to buy her ticket.
She walked up to the ticket counter and greeted the agent. "Good morning! I'd like to buy a return ticket to Oxford, please," she said. The ticket agent smiled and replied, "Certainly. That will be £20. The bus departs from platform 7."
Emily paid for the ticket with her credit card and then asked, "How long does the journey take?" The agent responded, "It takes about two hours, so you should arrive in Oxford around 11.15 a.m."
With her ticket in hand, Emily headed to platform 7. As she waited, she noticed several other passengers gathering. The bus arrived right on time, and the driver announced, "This is the bus to Oxford, departing in five minutes. Please board now."
Emily quickly found a seat near the window and settled in for the journey. She was relieved to be on her way and hoped that the trip would be smooth and on schedule.
